Industrial Effluent Treatment — Custom Engineered

An Effluent Treatment Plant (ETP) treats industrial wastewater to remove pollutants before safe discharge or reuse. Every industry generating effluent above threshold limits must install a CPCB/SPCB-approved ETP under the Water (Prevention and Control of Pollution) Act.

We offer complete turnkey ETP solutions — from process design and civil drawings to supply of all equipment, installation, commissioning, trial runs, NABL testing and PCB documentation. Our ETPs achieve BOD removal greater than 95% and TSS below 30 mg/L consistently.

Technologies offered include activated sludge process (ASP), MBBR, SBR, MBR, electrocoagulation, and advanced tertiary treatment with membrane filtration for zero-liquid-discharge applications.

Activated Sludge Process (ASP)

The classical biological treatment technology. Aeration tanks with diffused air and return activated sludge maintain an active mixed liquor biomass. Best for large-scale continuous flow ETPs. BOD removal >90%, COD >85%.

10 KLD – 50 MLD

MBBR (Moving Bed Biofilm Reactor)

Biofilm grows on plastic carriers (Kaldnes type) freely moving in aeration tanks. 50% smaller footprint than ASP. No sludge return required. Robust to shock loads. Ideal for retrofitting existing tanks.

10 KLD – 5 MLD

SBR (Sequential Batch Reactor)

Single-tank fill-react-settle-decant cycles replace multiple tanks. Ideal for variable flow industries (textile, pharma). Computerised timer and DO-based control. Excellent nitrogen removal capability.

50 KLD – 10 MLD

MBR (Membrane Bio Reactor)

Combines biological treatment with 0.04μm hollow-fibre membrane filtration. Near-drinking-quality effluent. Zero suspended solids in permeate. Required for ZLD pre-treatment and high-grade reuse.

10 KLD – 2 MLD

Electrocoagulation (EC)

Electrical coagulation of dissolved metals, dyes, emulsified oils and colloidal pollutants using sacrificial iron/aluminium electrodes. No chemical sludge from coagulants. Superior colour removal for textile effluent.

10 KLD – 500 KLD

Physico-Chemical ETP

Primary treatment for high-TDS, high-metal, or non-biodegradable effluents. pH correction, coagulation-flocculation (alum, PAC, PACL), tube settler clarification, pressure filtration. Standalone or as pre-treatment before biological stage.
